Our rooms

Appenzell is known for both its vibrant colours as well as high-quality, skilled craftsmanship. Our hotel rooms display all the best qualities, values and traditions of the region.

Standard rooms

Our standard rooms (approx. 25 m²) are uniquely decorated and equipped with two twin beds (length 200cm / width 100cm), bath or shower, WC, radio, TV, telephone, minibar, safe and Wifi. We also have a wheelchair accessible hotel room.

Deluxe rooms

The Deluxe rooms (30 m²) are furnished with two twin beds (length 200cm / width 100cm), baths and/or showers, WC and twin wash hand basins. You will also find Wifi, TV, telephone, radio, minibar and safe in all our rooms. Some of our Deluxe rooms boast a view of the historical square, the Landsgemeindeplatz.

Junior Suites

Every one of our Junior Suites has two twin beds (length 200cm / width 100cm), a comfortable seating area with a sofa and armchair. You will also find a spacious bathroom with WC, separate shower and bath and twin wash hand basins. As in all our rooms, the Junior Suites are also equipped with Wifi, TV, telephone, radio, safe and minibar.

Good to know

The price of your stay is calculated per room and per night and includes breakfast from our breakfast buffet. The visitor’s tax of CHF 2.50 per person per night will be added to the price of your stay.

Appenzell holiday discount card

If you book a stay for 3 nights or more you are entitled to the Appenzell holiday discount card. With this card you can benefit from over 20 free offers in the region.

Check in/Check out

Your room is available from 3pm on the day of your arrival and until 12 noon on the day of your departure. Should you plan to arrive after 9:30 pm, we kindly ask you to contact us in advance.
