Celebrations
Our traditional ballroom offers the ideal venue for all festivities; weddings, birthdays, business functions and more. Up to 120 people can celebrate in our unique atmospheric hall. For larger events, we can open up and link the ballroom and dining room together to create a capacity for up to 200 guests at once.

The political highlight of the year
In Romantik Hotel Säntis you can experience the unique «Innerrhoder Landsgemeinde», the traditional cantonal elections, up close. On the last Sunday in April every year, all the locals eligible to vote meet in the famous square right in front of the hotel to participate in this old-fashioned democratic process, during which all laws are passed, big budget decisions voted on and any locals who wish can share their views. Experience direct democracy as it is celebrated in Appenzell.
